The Byōbu folding Japanese screens "wind wall" are Japanese screens composed of 4 to 6 panels painted with gouache on a gold leaf background.
They are composed of several panels mounted in a mobile way. The panels are made of wooden frames covered with silk, or several layers of thin paper.
Here represented a bird and rocks with the top part gilded to represent clouds in modern style.
This screen must date from the 1930s
